We had Missy's hair cut today. They did a great job of not making her look like a poodle. She came out with this beautiful great soft deep black shiny coat. When they showed her to me I immediately thought of velvet which certainly would be a novel name.

Missy/Molly/Velvet doesn't like getting into the car, but she loves the ride....

After a day at the spa, it is under the knife tomorrow.

Finally, pictures  of Molly - we messed around with names - after her haircut I wanted to call her Velvet, but Bill didn't like it - then our 2 yr old grandson called her Molly so that was it.  Although he refers to her as "doooooog".

Hi there!

Here are some recent photos of Zeke and Lucy - they are truly incredible dogs and only getting better with age!! - neighborhood "celebrities" that bring tons of smiles wherever they go! I will always be grateful to both of you!

Hope you're doing great, thanks!!

Day at the Salon for Forrest

Hi,

Thought I send pix of Forrest after his first grooming. He had a bad mat on his chest so they had to go short.

He is such a joy we love him to bits. He is a great dog, friendly, doesn't bark much, goes potty just fine, loves to play and be man handled. Still working on the listening part, but he sits and comes on command. The groomer even commented on how well behaved he is for a puppy.

Thank you again for giving us this bundle of joy!!

Chad and Kristi,

We thought you might like to know that our little Bleu has officially become a service dog in NYC. Which is not easy here.

The first picture is Bleu with his trainer. Bleu is the youngest dog, by far, he has ever certified. Of course the second is proud mommy April with Bleu in his service jacket. He's barely big enough to fit into it.

Taggerung and Favo Stories

Hi Kristi

Tagger and Favo have been enjoying the rain (finally!!) and their baby pool. Tagger is a crazy nut about catching the splashes. He goes round and round the pool after them like they have some evil plan only he knows about. Then when he gets a nose full of water, Favo just looks at him like he just doesn't get it. Favo just lays in the pool wondering what his furry brother is up to. Tagger has given up trying to let Favo in on the “Splashes' diabolical plan for world domination....”

Today Tagger he got some soft toys out of the inside toy basket and chewed them on his puff (dog bed). He had such a great time being the center of attention and tossing them into the air. His favorites are the lady bug and the chicken (not the ones in the hen house of course!).

He and Favo are best buds. Favo cries if he is crated without Tagger now and vice versa. They are a strange looking couple, but somehow fit nicely together. Tagger's sharp baby teeth have managed to do a number on Favo's "cheeks. Favo doesn't seem to mind being a bit of a chew toy. Tagger isn't really that rough with him, I think it's from when Tagger tries to do the "death shake" on Favo's face....they will sort it out I'm sure.

I've attached a photo of Favo and Tagger on the puff together from today. We did bath, nails, teeth, ears, and Tagger's furry feet. They smell like japanese cherry blossom, for the moment anyway. I really should have attached the "before" picture when both boys looked like mud balls with feet.

Kristi,

I just wanted to let you know how extremely pleased I am with Lucy. She has a great capacity for learning. She comes to the command of "Lucy, come" and she learned to "sit" just this morning. She is using a bell to exit and enter our home also. She is doing great with potty and crate training.

I couldn't ask for a more social puppy. She has played many times with our neighbor's beagle and with our daughter's corgi.
And Chad is correct, she loves people! Totally satisfied!!! Here are a couple of pictures of her!
