Hi Kristi ~

I thought I'd write a quick note to let you know Daisy is doing fantastic!  She is a wonderful addition to our family and we love her dearly.  She is learning fast.   She knows sit, stay, come, shake, and is close to being housebroken.  She still has occasional accidents when she's excited which I know she'll outgrow. She loves to play "hide and seek" with us!

She's been eating well, she was 15 lbs. at her last checkup. The vet gave us the go ahead to start walking her around our neighborhood and she has met and walked with our neighbor's Goldendoodle.  She does very well with other dogs, she's curious and playful and doesn't show any signs of fear, just a little caution at first sometimes.  She walks great on a leash!  Very little pulling and after a quick tug gets right back beside me. Grooming has been easy as well, bathing, brushing, nail clipping, ear cleaning all done with little to no fussing.  She keeps us very busy everyday but she's a very loving and smart pup!  We couldn't be more pleased!

I've attached a pic from a few weeks ago, I'll send more when she gets a little bigger.

Thanks!

Just wanted to attach a photo of Maddie at 12 weeks.
She’s doing exceptionally well.
She’s almost housebroken and can sit, speak, give paw and lay down.
She loves the ocean and even getting sprayed with the water hose!
I’ll send another update in the future but wanted to share this picture with you.
Hope all is well.

Hi Kristi!

Here are the pictures I promised you.  Grace is such a sweet puppy!  As you can see, she prefers to sleep in the cat bed instead of her own big dog bed!  I think she is going to outgrow it soon!

Everyone says what a behaved puppy she is and believe me, she came to us that way!  I am so glad I got a pup that was a little older and started by you and Chad.  She has such good puppy manners and so polite in public.  She goes everywhere with me and everyone just loves her.  Thank you again for such a wonderful puppy.  She is a joy!

My dad asked that I forward some of the pictures we've taken of Molly so far.

So many to choose from!!
Will probably send an additional email or two.

What a wonderful puppy full of energy and smart as can be!!

Dear Chad and Kristi

Here are photos of Miss Ivy taken by Seth Casteel of Little Friends Photography in October 2010, just after Ivy's first birthday.   Seth is a wonderful photographer based in Los Angeles, who travels to different cities and is available for appointments.   He also volunteers a lot of time to animal shelters in Los Angeles to make beautiful photos of these creatures in order to increase the odds that they will be adopted.

As you can see in the photos, Miss Ivy loves to chase blowing leaves.  She thinks they are alive.   Ivy is crazy for soccer and is a fierce competitor.   Ivy is both a clown and a gentle soul, as is evident in her photographs.  Every time I see a photo of her, she makes me smile.   I have a large photo of her looking straight at me as I enter my office at work to remind me to smile, take a breath, and remember that no matter how busy work may be, it's all good.   She keeps my blood pressure down and keeps me laughing.  She is my dear companion now that my sons are grown and my husband travels for work.  She is my guardian angel.

Ivy was certified by Therapy Dogs International in October.   Her paper work was completed in January.  She is now ready to work at her first "big girl job" which is already lined up. She will be going to Warren Township Special Recreation a couple of times a month for an after school program for children with mental disabilities, primarily Autism and Down's Syndrome.   I know she will make these children smile too.   She is also exploring other "part time work" with an assisted living home down the street from our house and a psych unit at a nearby hospital.

My God continue to bless you, your family, and your special dog family in your excellent and valuable profession.

 Peace,
Jennifer and Russ Johnson

Hi Kristi and Chad,
I thought I'd send an update on our wonderful little Syd... she is now 15 months old and she has become a beloved member of our family. My husband has really taken to her which is unusual for him since he is not the animal lover of the house! Her name really fits her because she is a little tomboy. She gets along with every dog she has ever met and she even makes crabby dogs like her.
You probably can't tell from the picture but she has turned out to be a medium sized labradoodle. She weighs 50 lbs. and probably stands 18" at the shoulders.
I hope all is well with you and thank you for our little Syd!

Kristi,
Just checking in.
Hope you had a wonderful holiday season and are fully recovered. We certainly did. Rosco was a great addition and loved and enjoyed by all.
He is now 20 lbs and mostly house broken with a few accidents here and there. The pictures are from today.
We were thinking invisible fence. Any thoughts or recommendations?
Thanks,
Rosco Carando Family

Hello Kristi,
Just wanted to say hello and let you know how our little guy is doing. We love him so much!!! He is smart playful and very easy going. With the other dogs help he was potty trained within the first week and a half. He uses the doggie door like a pro. We took him on his first camping trip at Christmas and he was so comfortable in our RV it was like he was born there.LOL.. He loves to ride in the car too.

We went to Petco the other day and had some pictures made. I thought you might like to see them or post them on your site. Mattie our Lab mix is shy so she sat this one out.  I hope you enjoy them.

Kristi,

I took Maggie to the vet today. She weighed 7 lbs!! They were impressed with her and asked where I got her! I thought you would like to hear that. I'm attaching some pictures in case you haven't been of FB for a while.
Oh, and I did have to do the  mouth correction    like you told me.

She hasn't bitten me since, but I have to say, it broke my heart to do it.
Thanks for all your help! I'll be in touch!

Rigbee Rizzotti and his new Family

 Hi Chad and Kristi,
We wanted to let you know that Millie is doing just fine with Mei Mei!  (pronounced "May May", which means "sister" in Mandarin Chinese).  No red eyes, sneezing or blotches!  We absolutely love Mei Mei!  She is so smart...she already sits when she comes inside to have her paws wiped, she rings the bell hanging on the patio door when she has to go outside and she keeps her crate nice and clean!  She is now sleeping through the night (yesterday was the first night)  the other nights she yelped and whined.  I would sit by her crate until she fell back to sleep, but she would only sleep for 45 minutes to one hour.  Yesterday we put a blanket over part of her crate and placed a shirt I wore all day and she slept all through the night!  We are so proud of her!  Everyone just loves her!

Attached are some photos!

Warmly,

Vince Pamela Millie and Mei Mei

Here is Henry with his new big sister Riley Rose.....Riley is 67 lbs.
Her favorite thing is to play frisbee.
Henry runs around the house with the frisbee trying to get Riley to chase him.
Riley has become rather maternal with him.
Will send more soon!
Thanks for all the help.

Hi Chad & Kristi,

Happy New Year!

I know it's been a while but we just wanted to check in and give you an update on our wonderful new addition.
He will be a year old next month and he is just full of energy.
He has adapted very well to his energetic big sis, Sofia, and is very gentle with her.
Everywhere we take him we get so many compliments on him and we are so proud to have him in our family.
Sincerely,
The Looman Family

Macy loves to ice fish with us... or should I say,  run around in the snow for 15 minutes, then sleep on her oversized pillow inside the heated shanty for 2 hours  :)

Hi Chad and Kristi!

Happy New Year!

It’s hard to believe Daisy has been with us for almost 9 months now.  She turned one year old a few weeks ago and is such a good girl Smile

We truly couldn’t be any luckier to have her be part of our family, she’s such a joy and so fun to be with.  She makes us laugh all the time. We just love her so much!

And she has a lot fun in the snow!  She didn’t really know what to think of the first snowfall but it didn’t take her long to figure out how much fun it is, especially with the kids.  She likes to rub her nose in the snow Smile  Her coat seems to still be changing as she gets older, it’s so cool and different, love it!

Just wanted to tell you hello from Daisy and wish you a very Happy New Year.  We hope you have a wonderful 2011!

Take Care,
The Daisy Shisler Family
